The official website of the Murray Chamber of Commerce is provided to facilitate business with the Chamber and to support the Chamber’s mission as directed by its Board of Directors and Executive Leadership. The Chamber Web Pages are intended to offer valuable information to members, businesses, residents, and the public. The Chamber’s official website is not intended to serve as a public forum for discourse; however, discussion and engagement may occur through the Chamber’s social media channels, where users may post content in accordance with these Terms of Use and the governing policies of each social media platform.
By using the Chamber Web Pages, including associated social media pages, you agree to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. You may not alter, add, or upload any content to the Chamber Web Pages without prior written authorization from an authorized representative of the Chamber.
All claims, disputes, or legal actions arising from the use of the Chamber Web Pages shall be governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Any legal proceedings related to the use of the Chamber Web Pages shall be filed exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Prohibited Content
Users are strictly prohibited from posting any of the following on the Chamber’s website or official social media platforms:
Time-sensitive messages or requests for emergency services or other Chamber-related services;
Comments intended as official public input for hearings or proceedings that should be directed to the appropriate Chamber department or agency;
Extremely uncivil, retaliatory, profane, abusive, or personally attacking language;
Content that is scatological, sexually explicit, or includes nudity or violations of privacy or other legal rights;
Misrepresentations, including false identities, avatars, names, or content that promotes, incites, or perpetuates hatred, illegal acts, or discrimination based on race, creed, color, religion, national origin, gender, age, marital status, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic status;
Sexually suggestive or explicit material in violation of community standards or applicable laws
Personally identifiable information (other than a user’s name), including addresses, phone numbers, Social Security numbers, or any other protected or sensitive information;
Campaign content endorsing or attacking political candidates;
Comments unrelated to the specific topic or context of the Chamber’s page;
Content encouraging illegal conduct or violating federal, state, or local law;
Comments that are libelous, harassing, threatening, or defamatory in nature;
Unauthorized advertisements or commercial solicitations, unless expressly permitted by the Chamber;
Copyrighted material that is owned by a third party without proper authorization.
